Michelle Narang is a Calgary-based nonprofit leader with over 25 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and communities through complex systems. With more than a decade in executive leadership, her work has spanned women’s services, seniors’ care, housing, and community-based programs, always grounded in a deep commitment to dignity, access, and meaningful support.

Outside of her work, Michelle feels most grounded in the outdoors: mountain biking, hiking, and camping in Alberta’s backcountry, where she finds both challenge and perspective.

Nithya joined the Pleasant Heights After School team in July 2025. She joins us with over 20 years of experience as a Montessori preschool teacher, early childhood educator, pedagogical leader, and in management positions. Nithya is passionate about creating a stimulating environment that enhances children’s overall development. She enjoys sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained in the childcare field with others to build a better and stronger foundation for children.

Fatima Jamaly, ECE, joined the Pleasant Heights After School team in September 2020. Fatima obtained her Early Childhood Education from Red Deer Polytechnic in 2015. She has over 17 years of experience in childcare education and management in the childcare industry. Fatima works primarily at King George School and provides site coordinator support to all three childcare centers for PHAS. She enjoys having the opportunity to learn new things from children, families and staff and build positive and professional relationships with them.

Alexander Lawrence is the Cybersecurity & Media Specialist at Pleasant Heights After School. He holds a bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity and has earned industry-recognized cybersecurity credentials, including SSCP and SecurityX. At PHAS, Alexander supports safe technology practices and protects information shared within the organization. He also supports PHAS’s online presence by sharing positive moments from the program through photos, updates, and community-focused content. Alexander uses his background in cybersecurity, information technology, and digital media to help PHAS stay safe, connected, and welcoming for families and the wider community.

Michelle Bosma brings over 14 years of experience in human resources and organizational leadership, supporting teams and operations across Canada and the United States. She has a strong background in building people-focused strategies, strengthening internal processes, and supporting organizations through periods of growth, change, and operational complexity.

She is known for her collaborative approach and ability to build strong, trusting relationships while driving practical, sustainable outcomes. Michelle is passionate about supporting organizations that have a meaningful impact in their communities and is committed to contributing her skills to help teams and programs succeed.
