Pleasant Heights After School (PHAS) was one of the first organizations to provide before & after school care to children in northwest Calgary. PHAS opened its first location in a Mount Pleasant church in 1976 to care for 30 elementary school children in the community. Since then, PHAS has expanded to provide childcare to over 200 children in Kindergarten to Grade 6 from three Calgary schools.
With three locations in northwest Calgary, King George School, Mount Pleasant Community Centre, and Panorama Hills School, PHAS works with families to support their child’s development in a safe, caring, and inclusive environment. Our enthusiastic and qualified staff provide age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities that encourage each child’s growth and socialization. At PHAS, children play, learn and have fun!

Pleasant Heights After School offers innovative before and after school programs for children ages 5 to 12 (kindergarten to Grade 6).
Programs are carefully crafted with a focus on fun, education, personal development, and leadership. As part of our childcare programs, enhanced hygiene and safety protocols are in place at all our locations to ensure the health and wellbeing of our team members and families.
